Abram Wilson inspires, connects and opens doors to the music industry so that young people from minoritised backgrounds have an equal chance to realise their creative potential. We do this through an innovative and award-winning schools programme called Future Sound.

Future Sound workshops focus on skills that students simply aren’t offered as part of their in-school music curriculum, including composition, songwriting, performance skills, recording music and building a career in the music industry. The programme makes a real difference to the young people who participate, in building aspiration as well as skills and learning - both in music and in wider life.

We are incredibly grateful for all the support from The Shears Foundation, because this has helped us deliver and strengthen our programme across the north of England, bringing positive personal and social impacts to the schools and communities where we work.
